Maternal Mental Health Matters
Becoming a mother is life-changing
It can be beautiful, joyful, overwhelming — and sometimes, it can feel like too much. This planner was created to offer a gentle space for mothers to rest, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.

A Collaboration with
Action on Postpartum Psychosis
After experiencing postpartum psychosis in 2021, Tara (DayDot Co-Founder) found herself in crisis — separated from her baby (her 2nd child) and placed in a generic psychiatric ward, because there were no specialist facilities available. The charity Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP) helped her through the hardest moments of her life. With their support along with her family & friends, she found her way back to wellness, joy, and creativity.
Now, Tara wants to give something back. Together, APP & DayDot have created a maternal mental health planner — not just for those who have experienced postpartum psychosis, but for any mother navigating the emotional landscape of early motherhood.
What's Inside the Planner?
This is not a clinical tool. It’s a beautifully designed space for new mums to:
- Tune into their emotional wellbeing
- Gently check in with themselves each day
- Reflect on the highs and lows
- Add photos, colour, or simply be still
- Write freely and feel seen
It includes:
- Mindful exercises for grounding and calming
- “What I wish someone had told me” advice from APP community mums
- Encouraging quotes about motherhood
- A layout that encourages self-care and presence, not pressure
Our hope is that this journal becomes an anchor — a quiet companion that helps you feel a little more like you.
A Planner with Purpose
This special edition is a collaboration with APP, a charity campaigning for better awareness, specialist care, and support for women experiencing postpartum psychosis. They have been campaigning for years to get a mother & baby unit in Northern Ireland.
🤍 All profits from this collaboration (any interior) go directly to APP.
"They were there for me when I didn’t believe I could ever feel happy again. I wouldn’t be here without them. This planner is my thank you — and a promise to other mums that they're not alone."
- Tara
